Welcome to Cinetropa, your Movie and TV Show Decider

Ever went to a movie that you thought was great but turned out to be really just meh? Not really awful mind you, but just rated too high. It’s not the fault of most critics when you see these rankings only being extremely good or extremely bad, hardly any in-between. It’s the way other ranking platforms round out the percentages. It’s easier for some people.

Yes, the go-to 100% method is no longer a good gauge these days; it’s limiting. It’s like seeing a glass of water in only two ways — either half full or half empty.

So we’ve tweaked the ranking of movies and TV shows. We’re the In-Between. We’re saying the glass could be anything — half full or half empty; spilling over the table or full to the brim or a third of it plain hogwash. Etcetera. Cinetropa caters to the Sheldons of this world (refer to ‘Big Bang Theory)–and we seriously think he lives in many of us.

To make our In-Between approach work for us, we’re using ranking (and reviewing) movies and TV shows from 1 to 10. This way, you can make better choices in your entertainment fare.

Call us your fantastic Movie & TV Show Decider!

So before you get overwhelmed by so many choices in your favorite streaming sites or neighborhood theater, check out our latest reviews first. You’re going to see OUR RANKINGS and USER RANKINGS. Eventually, we’ll also rank a TV series per episode, because why not?! when these shows take their sweet time before they start getting better.

Now that we’re doing 1 to 10 (10 being the best, see below), we’ve defined each number accordingly. Each ranking has a a one-word helpful description plus your option of using decimals if you want to be really Sheldon or precise about it.

10 A Masterpiece

9 Amazing

8 Great

7 Good

6 Fair

5 Average

4 Poor

3 Bad

2 Awful

1 Horrendous

Lastly, for those who prefer their reviews to be more insightful, we’re also going to give out reviews in both written and video form with bullet points of a movie or TV’s shows’ pros and cons.

Stay tuned! Or should we say, Stay ‘Tweened!
